My approach

Be yourselves.
I'll take care of the picture.

Most of my couples aren't professional models, and I don't expect you to know how to pose in front of a camera.

My approach is rooted in documentary photography, but I'm not simply there to point my camera and capture whatever happens. I'm constantly looking for the right light, angle, composition and moment to create an image that feels beautiful as well as genuine.

I'll usually give you a little direction and let you interact naturally. Sometimes I'll ask you to move somewhere, change the way you're standing, or suggest a simple pose if I feel it will make the composition stronger — especially when I'm working with things like different heights, interesting architecture, beautiful light or a particular background.

But your comfort always comes first.

I don't want you to perform for the camera or copy a pose that doesn't feel like you. Because if you feel awkward, it will show in the photograph. The best images happen when the direction feels natural and you can still be yourselves.

So there might be moments when you're completely unaware of the camera, and there might be moments when I intentionally create a photograph with you.

A little direction. A lot of observation. And always room to be yourselves.

Before the wedding

Your photography is planned.
Your day isn't.

Every booking includes time planning. We'll talk through your ceremony, locations, transportation, light and the kind of experience you want. The goal is to make the photography fit naturally into your day — not the other way around.

Frequently asked

A few things you may wonder.

How many photographs will we receive?

I don't work to a strict number. Every wedding is different, and the amount of photographs depends on what happens during your day. I carefully curate the complete gallery and you receive all the photographs I select as meaningful to your story.

Will you make us pose?

Not in the traditional sense. I'll give you direction when useful, but I want you to remain yourselves. I photograph the interaction, movement and emotions that happen naturally.

When will we receive our photographs?

Within three days after your wedding, you'll receive a sneak peek with at least 20 photographs. Your complete edited gallery will be delivered within six weeks.

Do you help with the timeline?

Yes. Time planning is included with every booking. We'll work together before the wedding so that your photography fits naturally into the day.

Are all the good photographs included?

Yes. I don't hide good photographs or ask you to purchase additional images to unlock your gallery. The photographs I select for your final gallery are all included.

Do you photograph LGBTQ+ weddings?

Absolutely. Everyone is welcome. My approach is personal, relaxed and focused on documenting your relationship and the people who matter to you.
